Terms and Conditions

By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, accepting an invitation, purchasing a plan, using an API, or publishing through Bhaasa, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use Bhaasa for a company, publisher, broadcaster, government body, school, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization. “You” then includes both you and that organization.

Bhaasa is intended for an international professional audience. These Terms apply globally, while mandatory privacy, consumer-protection, employment, media, and other laws in your jurisdiction continue to apply where they cannot lawfully be excluded.

Bhaasa provides tools that may allow users to:

• turn approved articles, scripts, or public article pages into narrated and captioned news videos;
• select synthetic presenters, voices, visual themes, intros, footage, formats, and brand elements;
• upload media and generate, edit, translate, style, review, burn in, and export subtitles;
• store and organize projects, media, templates, exports, and publishing settings;
• create organizations and workspaces, invite staff, assign roles and permissions, share projects, and review audit activity;
• download outputs or publish through hosted players, direct links, embeds, APIs, webhooks, and supported connectors; and
• update the media delivered through an existing hosted-player URL when that feature is selected.

Features, supported languages, voices, presenters, formats, integrations, limits, and availability may change. Some features may be preview, beta, plan-limited, region-limited, or subject to a separate Enterprise agreement.

You must be at least 16 and legally able to enter a binding agreement. Account information must be accurate and kept current. Organization accounts may require a verified work email, business domain, plan, or approval before dashboard access is enabled.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for safeguarding email access, sign-in methods, one-time codes, API keys, webhook secrets, invitation links, and connected accounts. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Organization creators and authorized administrators may manage domains, workspaces, plans, members, invitations, roles, permissions, shared projects, publishing, developer access, and audit information. Workspace administrators may manage people and review activity only within the scope granted to them.

If you join an organization, you authorize its administrators to manage your access and view information and content available to your role. The organization is responsible for obtaining any notices, consents, or permissions required for staff accounts and workplace monitoring. Your access may be removed by an administrator without notice from Bhaasa.

Organization creators are responsible for maintaining at least the required plan or Enterprise authorization. Skipping optional workspace setup does not remove the plan or access requirements that apply to organization accounts.

You must not use the Service to:

• upload, import, generate, publish, or distribute content you do not have the right to use;
• defame, harass, exploit, threaten, discriminate against, or unlawfully expose personal data about another person;
• create deceptive impersonations, fabricated endorsements, fraudulent reports, or synthetic media intended to mislead people about identity, source, authenticity, or material facts;
• present AI-generated reporting as verified fact without appropriate editorial review;
• violate intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, electoral, advertising, consumer-protection, or other applicable laws;
• process biometric, medical, financial, children’s, classified, or similarly sensitive material unless you have authority and the Service is appropriate for that use;
• introduce malicious code, probe security, bypass access controls, disrupt service, scrape protected areas, or obtain another user’s data;
• circumvent quotas, storage limits, rate limits, concurrency controls, plan gates, watermarking, or payment requirements;
• resell, sublicense, or provide shared access to the Service except as expressly permitted by your plan or written agreement; or
• use outputs, voices, presenters, stock media, or Bhaasa branding in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, affiliation, or approval.

We may investigate suspected misuse and remove content, restrict publishing, revoke credentials, or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, or the Service.

As between you and Bhaasa, you retain the rights you hold in articles, scripts, uploads, recordings, logos, brand assets, captions, translations, edits, and other material you submit, together with your rights in eligible outputs (“Your Content”).

You grant Bhaasa a worldwide, non-exclusive, limited license to host, copy, process, modify, translate, render, transmit, display, and otherwise use Your Content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and provide the Service, follow your publishing instructions, comply with law, and enforce these Terms. This license includes using service providers acting on our behalf.

You represent that you have all rights, licenses, releases, notices, and consents required for Your Content, including the voices, faces, recordings, articles, logos, fonts, music, footage, and personal data it contains. You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and publication of Your Content.

The Service uses automated processes that can produce errors, omissions, timing problems, mistranslations, unsuitable visuals, pronunciation mistakes, or statements not supported by the source. Output may not be unique, and other users may receive similar results.

Synthetic presenters and voices are production tools, not real journalists or endorsements. You must provide labels or disclosures where law, platform policy, journalistic standards, or audience expectations require them. Bhaasa does not provide legal, medical, financial, or editorial advice.

Downloads, direct URLs, hosted players, and embeds are separate delivery methods. A hosted-player URL may remain stable while you publish an updated export to it. Anyone who can access an enabled public link or a site containing an embed may be able to view the published content.

You are responsible for where and how links and embeds are distributed. Domain restrictions and player controls reduce unintended use but do not guarantee confidentiality or prevent recording, caching, indexing, or copying. Updates may take time to reach every cache or viewer. Disabling or deleting hosted content cannot retrieve copies already received by others.

You must not use a stable URL to replace previously lawful or accurate content with unlawful, deceptive, harmful, or materially different content in a way that misleads viewers or bypasses a publisher’s review process.

Developer access is subject to plan permissions, documentation, quotas, concurrency, and rate limits. You are responsible for applications, requests, users, and activity associated with your credentials. We may rotate, revoke, or limit credentials to protect the Service or enforce these Terms.

Webhook endpoints must be controlled by you, accept only expected events, verify authenticity, and handle retries and duplicate delivery safely. Request logs and delivery records may be retained for security, support, billing, and troubleshooting. You must not place secrets or unnecessary personal data in URLs, idempotency values, metadata, logs, or support tickets.

Integrations and publishing destinations are operated by third parties. You authorize us to send information to them when you connect or invoke them, and you remain responsible for their terms, permissions, security, and continued availability.

Features and allowances depend on your plan or written agreement and may include AI minutes, translation minutes, News Studio videos, storage, project retention, concurrency, team access, watermarking, APIs, and support. Current public plan details are shown on our pricing page. Organization accounts may be limited to eligible plans or approved Enterprise access.

Usage is measured according to the feature being used. Failed, cancelled, repeated, or partially completed jobs may consume allowance when processing has already occurred. Allowances generally do not carry over unless stated otherwise. We may prevent new jobs when a limit is reached.

Prices, taxes, billing periods, renewal behavior, and payment methods are presented at checkout or in your agreement. By purchasing, you authorize the displayed charge. Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, payments for an activated period or completed usage are non-refundable and non-transferable. Contact us promptly about suspected billing errors.

Storage and project-retention periods are operational policies rather than backup guarantees. Download important source files and outputs. If a plan ends, features may be restricted, queued work may stop, and content may be deleted after the applicable retention or grace period.

Bhaasa may help import public articles, locate or include licensed media, accept customer fonts and logos, or connect to external publishing and payment services. Availability in the Service does not guarantee that a particular use is lawful or covered by a license for your territory, audience, industry, or distribution channel.

Third-party services and content are governed by their own terms. Bhaasa is not responsible for changes, outages, removals, policies, or acts of third parties. You must review and comply with any attribution, license, platform, or usage requirements that apply.

The Service, including its design, software, workflows, documentation, templates, brand, logos, and product materials, is owned by Bhaasa or its licensors and protected by law. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your plan. They do not grant rights to our trademarks or permit copying, reverse engineering, or creating a competing service from protected elements except where law cannot restrict such activity.

If you submit ideas, feedback, or feature requests, you allow Bhaasa to use them without restriction or compensation. This does not transfer ownership of Your Content or confidential material clearly identified and accepted by us as confidential.

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion. Organization administrators may remove members or workspaces. We may suspend or terminate access, credentials, publishing, or content if payment fails, a plan expires, these Terms are violated, activity creates security or legal risk, or continued service is not reasonably possible.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions concerning ownership, content responsibility, payment, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, disputes, and any terms intended by their nature to survive will continue. Retention and deletion follow our Privacy Policy and any applicable written agreement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Bhaasa disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We do not warrant that automated output is factual, unique, lawful, complete, correctly translated, free from bias, suitable for broadcast, accepted by a distribution platform, or available indefinitely. You are responsible for source backups, editorial approval, legal review, disclosure, and publication decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bhaasa and its officers, employees, affiliates, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, content, audience, or business; or the cost of replacement services arising from or related to the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for claims related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid Bhaasa for the Service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold Bhaasa harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from Your Content, your publication or use of output, your integrations, your violation of these Terms or law, or your infringement of another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from Bhaasa’s own unlawful conduct.

If a checkout page, order form, or Enterprise agreement identifies governing law or a dispute forum, that selection applies. Otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Bhaasa contracting entity providing your Service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not remove protections or forums that mandatory law in your country or region gives you. Before filing a formal claim, contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally. A claim may then be brought in a court or forum with lawful jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, law, safety, or business practices. We will update the date above and provide additional notice where a material change requires it. If you continue using the Service after updated Terms take effect, you accept the revised Terms.
